Hi, I’m Shannon!

I’m an artist based in Los Angeles, though I’m originally from New England. Art has always been part of my life—from childhood sketches to earning my BFA in college.

I’ve worked in the arts for over 25 years, exploring everything from printmaking and photography to silversmithing and costume design. During a particularly stressful chapter of my life, I found my way back to painting—and unexpectedly, to miniatures as well. Creating became a daily ritual, a calming practice that brought me peace when I needed it most.

Most of what I create is joyful on purpose: colorful paintings, fresh flowers, cozy corners, and tiny scenes that feel personal and nostalgic. Whether it’s a painting for your wall or a miniature meant to be discovered up close, my work is inspired by home, travel, and everyday beauty. At the heart of it all is color—I’m endlessly fascinated by how it can shift a mood, transform a space, or spark a feeling.

My miniature pieces are an extension of this same idea: small-scale worlds filled with detail, intention, and charm. They’re meant to feel intimate, playful, and a little magical—proof that even the tiniest things can bring joy.

Whether you’re collecting something for yourself or giving it as a gift, my hope is simple: that it makes you feel good. A little spot of brightness and joy. A tiny moment of calm in a noisy world.
